We deliver across the United Kingdom. Orders are dispatched within one business day and arrive in 2-4 business days. Returns are open for 30 days. All prices include VAT.

Our 30-day return policy
Change of mind
Send back an unused item in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
Faulty or damaged items
If something arrives faulty or damaged, contact us and we will arrange the return at no cost to you. The Warranty page explains what is covered.
How to start a return
Email info@theporchtale.com with your order number and the reason. We will send instructions and, for faulty items, a free return label.
Refund timelines
Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days of us receiving the item.
Return shipping costs
Faulty or incorrect items come with a free return label. If you have changed your mind, you pay the return postage unless we tell you otherwise.
Non-returnable items
Made-to-order pieces and gift vouchers that have been used cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Lamps must be returned with all their fittings.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are emailed as a code, so nothing is posted and there is no delivery charge. An unused voucher can be cancelled and refunded within 30 days of buying it. Once any of the value has been spent it cannot be refunded.

How long does delivery take?
We dispatch within one business day. Most orders arrive in 2-4 business days. Larger items such as shelving units show their own delivery date on the product page.
How much is delivery?
Free on orders over £75. Below that, delivery costs £4.95. Gift vouchers are emailed, so they have no delivery charge.
